Here is the current method I use to archive videos hosted on twitter to Catbox. It's super easy and takes practically no time at all.

Suggestions for improvements are welcome.

1. Copy twitter URL

2. Navigate to https://ssstwitter.com/

3. Paste twitter URL in text box labeled Insert link.

a. Note the example URL displayed below the text “Your link should look like this:”. See how it doesn’t use the mobile twitter domain or include a URLstring?

b. If the link pasted in step 3 points to “mobile.twitter.com”, delete the “mobile.” portion of the domain so that the link now points to “twitter.com” instead.

4. Click the Download button to the right of the text box containing the target URL.

5. If videos are found, the next screen should display an image, beneath which will appear one or more buttons enabling download of the content at varying resolutions, e.g. Download 640x624. Copy the URL for the desired option (I always go with the highest available and haven’t had any issues so far).

Note: I have noticed that, if the link contains a lengthy URLString, SSSTwitter may complain about the link format. If you encounter the same behavior, you might try removing everything after the “?” in the URL and try that instead.

6. Navigate to https://catbox.moe/ (or preferred image host). Select the text Upload via URL displayed beneath the box labeled Select or drop files. [A text box labeled Put your link in here, onii-chan~ should appear.](https://files.catbox.moe/5gkvbn.png)

7. Paste the sssTwitter download link copied in step 5 into the new text box described in step 6. Click the button beneath labeled Go!

8. Shortly afterward, the screen should refresh, displaying notification of completion, along with a URL of the archived content.

There you have it. With a trivial bit of effort on your part, you have preserved a copy of content posted to Twitter, making it less susceptible to being memory-holed while potentially making it available to a wider audience. Go you!
