I can't say I've actually seen an RPK fired before this video. Certainly not until failure. That was pretty cool (and quite the expensive endeavor).

Yeah Im pretty sure the gas tube on an AR would have blown out before then. They're designed to. Rather have the gas tube blow before the barrell does.

Look into the testing performed on John Moses Brownings first iteration firearms if you want to see real torture testing. We're talking tens of thousands of rounds without a failure to fire, multiple shooters multiple shifts, one firearm. Kalashnikov built Hella reliable firearms but nobody touchs the Patron Saint of Gunsmiths
