Quinine might work if you take enough of it early in your symptomatic disease. But a significant dose is probably greater than 2 or 300 mg a day which is 4 or 5 liters of schweppes. Iron is not good to take during an infection.
Combntrin/pyrantel won’t do anything for covid because it works totally differently. Nitizoxanide is an antiparasitic which might work but is difficult to obtain. Ivermectin or a similar macrolide antiparasitic like moxydectin or selamectin might work. Just get the ivermectin.
Quercetin is not carried everywhere but a lot of green tea will work similarly.
Vitamin D for sure is going to help even late in the game. Vitamin D is one of the best predictors of dying from it. If you aren't vitamine D deficient it's practically impossible to die from it. I'm just coming out of it, I think, after two weeks of hell. I spent one night in the hospital. For older people it can be very dangerous. I'm almost 50. Young people seem to do okay with it. Mine started with a high fever then about 6 days later I couldn't seem to get a breath and went to hospital. Quinine might work if you take enough of it early in your symptomatic disease. But a significant dose is probably greater than 2 or 300 mg a day which is 4 or 5 liters of schweppes. Maybe it would take 2x that, there hasn’t been a good study. A couple of glasses won’t save you by the time you get symptoms.
Iron is not good to take during an infection.
Combntrin/pyrantel won’t do anything for covid because it works totally differently. Nitizoxanide is an antiparasitic which might work but is difficult to obtain. Ivermectin or a similar macrolide antiparasitic like moxydectin or selamectin might work. Just get the ivermectin.
Quercetin is not carried everywhere but a lot of green tea will work similarly.

Glad you did not get too sick. I do believe there are many factors that determine severity of illness— age and weight are two big ones but not the only ones.
I do recommend Ivermectin paste for horses available on amazon or tractor supply. I recomment high C D and zinc, green tea and/or quercetin, aspirin to prevent blood clots, and famotadine/pepsid to help with lung inflammation. Melatonin is also a good immune stimulant.
Just because you had a mild case does not mean your wife will. If you guys are over 50 you should take it seriously even if you were not that ill. Hope you are both back to well soon.
