First SIDS, then SUDC (sudden unexplained death in childhood) now SADS. All three mean they don't know cause of death, won't look into it or acknowledge it if they do know. Often it is vaccines, murders or accidents - only very rarely is it truly unknown or unknowable given a little investigation. Never has one of the syndromes caused a death but they are listed on so many death certificates as the cause of death in leiu of the real one or the previously used phrase "UNKNOWN".
