Honestly, I will be surprised if they try the camps here. I know they would love nothing more than that to happen, but they have to have enough force to go through with it. Too many Americans are ready to fight... I think that will deter other Americans from turning on each other.
At least in my small town in S. Illinois basically no one is ever wearing a mask at this point. It would be a hell of a leap to start throwing people in camps.
The govts will be using the tracking app. So most people won't even know they were they were 'close' to an 'infected' person until the army comes to their house at 3am to take them to the camp. And what's the threshold? Being close to someone infected, or also being close to someone that was close to someone infected and not showing symptoms, yet? Will there be any appeal if it turns out the positive test was a false-positive? What if it turns out that the majority of the people rounded up are from the opposition political party, and the govt can manipulate the tracking app to target certain people to round-up?
These are Aboriginals. They are rounding them up in the Northern Territory and Western Australia too.

However, the government recruited Ernie Dingo, an Aboriginal celebrity, to promote the jabs to aborigines. He claimed he was receiving "hate" from white racists and anti-vaxxers blah blah blah, and that annoyed the activists, not what was actually happening to outback aboriginals.
It doesn't seem to strike these blue haired activists that chasing aboriginals in the outback to jab them is similar to the "stolen generations" story that they use to castigate White Australia with.

You'd think this would outrage the blue hairs of Melbourne and Sydney, but no. They're busy spazzing about the "hate" Ernie Dingo received from "anti vaxxers and White Supremacists" though (he offered no proof, but he said so, so hey Australia is soooo racist.)
It would be helpful for the govt to run recovery camps for people who live alone and might need care. If you are truly bed ridden for 10-14 days most people would have a hard time handling day to day stuff.
