Along the the main hiways they will have lots of tow trucks and huge diesel and gasoline generators to rescue EVs and re-charge them. Most EVs won't get the range advertised, due to crappy design, or from sitting in rush hour traffic with their heaters or A/C running down their batteries while they go no where.

The old "Next Station xx miles" signs will pop up - and those with low batteries will exit to recharge, only tons of them.
Imagine waiting in line for hours to get access to the charging station, and then charging for hours as well.
"I'm 20 cars deep, going to take until 11am - you have a room?" LOL
