A proper Pizza for a proper Roman

i used shredded gouda, French diced mushrooms
canned artichoke, Fresh Hyssop from my spice garden and of course some herbs de provance
the puree/sauce is a mixture of bell pepper puree mixed with a bit of aubergine puree
a true delight, shit took me over 40 minute to prepare
Oh, and for the base i used Buckwheat (best tasting and best health-wise)

"proper pizza" is an oxymoron. Doesn't matter how fancy you make it, macros are shit. Better off shoving that stuff (with 1/10th of the cheese and 3-4 times the vegetables) in a wrap and call it a day. 21st century Italians are fat and ugly for a reason.

You're gonna have to do a lot of cardio this week to compensate for that.

Cheese is good for you (protein and animal fat is actually recommended for a Keto diet)
it's the carbs that are bad, as you can see the crust was pretty thin and toppings were full of fiber (Mushrooms have low carb, high protein and fiber)
artichokes too are full of fiber and nutrients, and herbs are pretty much calorieless while adding a ton of flavor

The crust does look quite thick on my screen but on 2nd look maybe not as thick as I first thought.

You still have to do cardio.

you know i actually thought of this pretty damn hard
and i've came up with a few options
you either use Olive Tapenade as base combined with eggplant puree (originated in India) or carrot puree (available both to romans and greeks)
add a bit of wine viNIGGER and some basil and spices

and then use the topping as i previously recommended artichokes and mushrooms

it's a mad fucking idea but one day i'll experiment with it
and god willing, i'll forge a truly roman pizza

but for now i use bell pepper puree because i fucking HATE tomatoes
they are too sweet, full of carbs and too watery for my taste
bell peppers are stiff and hearty, easy to spread eventually and are not watery
they have low carb and tons of flavor

i know a lotta people associate peppers with Mexicans but i actually associate them with Bulgarians and Hungarians purely because of the jars of lecsó/Letscho/Leczo i'm buying
it's good shit and i highly recommend it over tomatoes any day

Yes.
it really has a more medieval taste, in a good way
modern flour tastes... bad
like artificially bad
old world grains (that means non-GMO/unmodified) taste a whole lot better than wheat
hell i even once baked a pizza with Rye, and let me tell ya
it was still better than wheat

I have been making Pizzas for years
it is delicate and time consuming work but it sure as hell beats the SHITE they are serving in those "fast food" (niggerfood) joints and even high end restaurants use nigger-tier dough and cheapens on toppings (and their quality)

i've learned a long time if you wanna eat proper, you gotta make it yourself
and cook like you're cooking for someone special, that's how you get the best results
