Haven't read the whole thing yet but I tracked back directly to the source --
https://archive.md/MUdgE, from the journal Viruses, found at https://www.mdpi.com/1999-4915/13/10/2056/htm ...the money paragraph (broken for reading ease):

4. Discussion: Our findings provide evidence of the spike protein hijacking the DNA damage repair machinery and adaptive immune machinery in vitro. We propose a potential mechanism by which spike proteins may impair adaptive immunity by inhibiting DNA damage repair. Although no evidence has been published that SARS–CoV–2 can infect thymocytes or bone marrow lymphoid cells, our in vitro V(D)J reporter assay shows that the spike protein intensely impeded V(D)J recombination.
Consistent with our results, clinical observations also show that the risk of severe illness or death with COVID–19 increases with age, especially older adults who are at the highest risk [22]. This may be because SARS–CoV–2 spike proteins can weaken the DNA repair system of older people and consequently impede V(D)J recombination and adaptive immunity.
In contrast, our data provide valuable details on the involvement of spike protein subunits in DNA damage repair, indicating that full–length spike–based vaccines may inhibit the recombination of V(D)J in B cells, which is also consistent with a recent study that a full–length spike–based vaccine induced lower antibody titers compared to the RBD–based vaccine [28].
This suggests that the use of antigenic epitopes of the spike as a SARS–CoV–2 vaccine might be safer and more efficacious than the full–length spike.
Taken together, we identified one of the potentially important mechanisms of SARS–CoV–2 suppression of the host adaptive immune machinery. Furthermore, our findings also imply a potential side effect of the full–length spike–based vaccine. This work will improve the understanding of COVID–19 pathogenesis and provide new strategies for designing more efficient and safer vaccines.

For once I figured I'd just backtrack to the source before reading the comments because it's probably something retarded that dial said.

But noooooo, you just had to go and copy paste the whole damned thing here. Well I ain't wasting my copypasta!

I haven’t researched the viral vector vaccines thoroughly. I didnt chase down all the 37 links in this article (some of which are bad, make no sense) that are cited for some fairly inflamatory claims. But I looked at a couple.

Looks like they use the non replicating adenovirus for marburg and ebola vaccines as well as the covid spike. The adenovirus is the platform for delivering different kinds of vaccines. Ebola and marburg proteins are not in the covid one.

When the citation refering to the E1 deletion is followed its clear they are talking about the virus’ E1 gene being deleted so it can’t replicate. Doesn’t appear to have anything to do with the human genes. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/33676782/

The article refers to “sinovax” being an adenovirus vax, but sinovac is a traditional attenuated virus vaccine and not viral vector

intentionally inducing Sjögren’s syndrome which is long-term autoimmunity (AIDS).

Sjogrens is not AIDS

They are not transfecting cells with hydras or hydra eggs or any kind of eggs.

The study cynabuns linked which was cited at the beginning seems to be on the up and up. The authors feel the spike protein itself (not the adenovirus) is damaging cells in marrow and thymus which help produce specialized B and T cells for the adaptive immune system.

I did not like that article.

Edit — seems like adenovirus has a bunch of genes like E1A, E1B, E2A, E2B, E3, and E4 involved in its replication

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adenovirus_genome

The article then conflates those viral genes with Human ubiquitin-activating enzyme (E1 gene in humans) ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme E2B in mice, and Human apolipoprotein gene alleles e2, e3, and e4! Holy fuck. This woman is an ass.

TLDR no this is not accurate. Except for the cited study that says the spike protein may damage the DNA in your immune cells.

This stuff is above my pay grade, but it sounds like you disagree with all the details but still agree with the claim it’s fucking with and deleting pual_neri’s DNA?

Maybe that website gets some sort of kickback for packing its articles with dozens of links held together by a meandering , disorganized, scientifically unsupportable narrative peppered with crackpot claims. But the citations are mostly to valid research. The study that cynabuns linked is a chink study that proposed that the artificial spike induced by the vax is fucking up this super complicated process of DNA recombination (above my paygrade) that occurs in bone marrow and and the thymus and creates B and T cells to fight off diseases and cancer. I scanned it. It seems valid.

The spike might cause clotting and neurodegenerative diseases like alzheimers but probably not through the mechanisms they are talking about. Maybe adenovirus can trigger Sjogren’s, but not AIDS. Sometimes they use the abbreviations AIS (autoimmune syndrome) but not AIDS. This Ariana Love person seems like a lot of other MAGA snakeoil click baiters. “Covid is caused by 5G” etc. They are just taking advantage of people with weak science backgrounds. Who knows what they put in that vaccine, but it ain’t hydras!

Theres a lot of bad scientific data out there, some use more sophisticated disinformation than others. Ultimately you just have to read through it, which is hard and confusing, and try to make heads or tails of it. I think covid is real and dangerous, and the vaccines are dangerous and ineffective. I love it when my research pays off and I can destroy arguments from guys like neri on “their” turf. They don’t do their research either, they just parrot The Guardian’s hot take. Ive destroyed many of his pro-vax posts.

Thanks, I’ll deepdive right through whole studies some times (not often) but you can tell in some there’s intentional effort to obfuscate certain things with needlessly complex terms or just going out of their way to use a “science term” instead of clear language.
