Wandered into the local quicky-mart in my small Northern California town, State of Jefferson, and dude working the register was wearing a hat with a Rebel Flag on it. Couldn’t fucking believe it. It’s been years since such a sight in these parts. I mean, anywhere in faggoty California. Kind of a breath of fresh air, so to say. Reminds me there is more of us than we realize. Rebels who will rise up.

You can't always assume they're on your side. I pulled up next to a pickup flying the Confederate flag in a major city in Texas at night, and the driver looked part Hispanic and had an expression that negated any possibility of a positive response.
