I'm hoping the jury sees how absolutely disingenuous the DA was being, and trying to fuck this kid's future for doing nothing wrong beyond having the desire to live, and to care about his community.

Kyle didn't get snippy or anything after the prosecution kept asking leading questions and ignoring the answers when he couldn't twist it into something entirely different.

Keep in mind the quality of juries. They are intentionally chosen to be middle-of-the-road (which is incredibly leftist these days) politically, of only an average intellect (anyone with knowledge of court proceedings, like jury nullification is right out). Anyone with strong (or any) morals (anyone on the right, or intelligent at all) is also automatically thrown out.

Really it isn't a jury of your peers that you face, but a bunch of braindead moron NPCs that somehow couldn't figure out how to get out of jury duty.

Barnes said something even scarier. It's that some percentage of jurors come in with their minds made up, and the evidence of the case doesn't sway them. I would take a jury of average intellect in this trial, because even they can see just how ridiculous Little Binger was being. You'd have to be either a complete moron or an overeducated leftist to be swayed by Binger's arguments.
