Weather is the speedometer and climate is distance divided by time.
That said, climate alarmism is total bullshit, and they fudge the data any chance they get to produce grant-funding hysteria.
I am a believer in warmer temperatures being good for human existence (well, maybe it was good in the past - currently we seem to be settled in with much greater comforts)
I recently watched a video on the theory that something external to the solar system actually influences the sunspot cycle. Before it seemed like the sun itself was doing some different cycling every 11 years, but with the external theory, that could be quite a change in how we examine weather itself.

NOAA removed over half of the actual weather/temperature monitoring stations over the last 15 years and replaced them with a computer model. They took actual data, threw it away, and said, "this is what we think the climate should look like". Then they spout propaganda about how "it's getting hotter" because their computer tells them it is. Honk.
How long have they been terrifying people with predictions of doom if we don't do something about the climate? Decades now.
Climate and covid. No hesitation in whipping up frenzies of fear about that.
Meanwhile, any number of global catastrophes could strike - supervolcanoes, tsunamis, asteroids, solar flares. Unlikely isn't the same as impossible and it's cute when these government agencies assure you no, Yellowstone won't erupt, but hey, scream and cower away in terror about covid.
The ONE thing ALL evil people have in COMMON is, they "think" WAY TOO MUCH of themselves (virtues, skills, talents, intelliegence, etc). FOOLS rush IN.
