Yes. Even with dumb shit, they’re bought and paid for. A friend of mine is a dermatologist. My jaw dropped when I saw the amount of Dove Soap bars and Cetaphil she was receiving from Unilever. I’m in the industry....I thought to myself, “No wonder why so many clients tell me their dermatologist recommends washing their face with Dove!” They’re controlled from the top to bottom.

Nice find. Though the average person is really unhealthy.

Its not for everyone and beef (along with other ruminant) heart is a great dietary source of CoQ10.

Ancestral Supplements makes desiccated pill forms of this and other beneficial organ supplements, which I highly recommend.

Doctors have enough patients, they'd be thrilled if people quit stuffing their faces and demanding pills to treat their diabeetus.

[ - ] BitterVeteran 1 point 2.5 yearsNov 9, 2021 17:17:07 ago (+1/-0)

Until the boat payments and summer home mortgages came in the mail...

[ - ] noonefromnowhere 0 points 2.5 yearsNov 9, 2021 17:43:56 ago (+0/-0)

Even then, it's not like there are shortages of patients. The doctor isn't sitting at the drive through making people order extra large cokes. A doctor can't cure someone's diabetes because it would require everyone to have their own personal doctor following them around smacking the food out of their hands.

Rule #1: recognize sarcasm

[ - ] noonefromnowhere 0 points 2.5 yearsNov 9, 2021 18:48:53 ago (+0/-0)

Your point was silly, sarcasm or not.

You should never go to a doctor for any reason. Period. Always try natural remedies first. The only reason. You should ever need to use a doctor or a hospital is in the case of severe trauma such as an injury, broken leg, etc. And even still, limit what they're able to give you. Doctors are willingly and knowingly deceiving, killing, and profiting from it. They deserve to swim in boiling excrement in hell

This is my policy. So, no doctor visits since I was a kid.

Saw palmetto absolutely works. Long term use can reduce testosterone. Use in cycles.

[ - ] SteppingRazor 2 points 2.5 yearsNov 9, 2021 10:10:28 ago (+2/-0)

It sure does. It takes a couple months to really start working though.

Another approach you might consider using in tandem is Cranberry/Guava.

Garden of Life may still make an excellent proprietary formulation of extracts, including these and more, called "mykind Organics Prostate".

These worked well for me.

Great info! Thanks for sharing :)

Wish they hadn't sold out and good to know in any event.

I like to do liquid extracts when possible because so many pills.

Totally get that.

For me, it depends on the response I'm looking for.

Tinctures are great for immediate response, pills for sustained. Combine accordingly for effect.

I also like how Oregon's Wild Harvest layers their extracts with the whole herb. This is another strategy I use to enhance the effect of natural medicines.

What is sad is that a lot of the nutrients we should be getting from food just isn't there. Soil depletion is a right bitch.

Dead on. We used to get all kinds of nutrients from the soil that simply aren't present anymore.

One of the strategies I use to counter this (in addition to supplementing with healthy sources of minerals) is to "eat the earth". Not literally, as in eating dirt (though I have been known to eat dirt on organic vegetables), more like eating food from different and, especially healthy, parts of the world.

Different soil is going to exhibit varying mineral profiles, the plants growing upon them will have varying uptake of what the soil has to offer, etc.

The idea being that the more puzzle pieces I give my body to work with, the more it can do with what it has.

Starwest Botanicals and Frontier offer many herbals.

I wild harvest where possible and source as much of the rest as I can from regional suppliers that grow organically.

That being said, everything doesn't grow everywhere :)

I've had great luck with both Frontier and Starwest.

Being truly healthy is a challenge and a great expense.

Man, I hear that. Food is our biggest expense by far. Over the years, we've experienced criticism and judgement from friends and family over how much we spend on food and guess whose kids don't take any medications, undergo any medical procedures and rarely see a dentist's chair?

I get that everyone's got their own outlook and the health and prosperity of my family is how I measure wealth.

I second all of those recommendations.

[ - ] Fascinus 1 point 2.5 yearsNov 9, 2021 09:36:21 ago (+1/-0)

Excellent recommendation.

You should also expect less frequent night time urination as a result of prostate shrinking over time.

@Con77 What brand did you get and how much (milligrams/tablets etc) did you take and how often?

[ - ] SteppingRazor 1 point 2.5 yearsNov 9, 2021 10:14:43 ago (+1/-0)

I take 320 mg nightly after a meal. I use the NOW brand which is very reasonably priced. It also uses pumpkin seed oil as a base

People with mpb and don't want to take fin, try this first and it works. So no doubt it would help your prostate.
