The Underscore Symbol Wont Display.

I put two in a comment when trying to write a users name.
The other day or so they displayed but the text also looked slanted. _Like so._ Today the symbol wont show at all.
I also noticed two pairs of underscores can be used to make things bold. __Like this.__

Only the finest users have an underscore in their name.

That’s called markdown.

The implementation on this site is a bit crude, and doesn’t account for line breaks. This has unintended formatting consequences.
