My experience with keto/carnivore diet is that many of my health issues such as ibs and diabetes were all eliminated. 6 years now. Never going back to carbs
A few vegetables here and there won't hurt you bro. What I found from my time doing keto and going back off and trying a few different things was that bread and milk are what bothers most people.

Honestly this is just terrible. But remember a high protein\animal fat rich diet is what our bodies are naturally designed to digest. That along with nuts, berries and other naturally occurring foods are good for us. Our bodies have not adjusted to the eating of processed grains and the BS we've been eating since the start of agriculture.
One time I was out of cream so I improvised by using a pad of butter and some of my wife’s breast milk. It was subpar so I just pretended I was camping because everything is good when you’re camping.
The protein powder manufacturers want you to believe that you need your bodyweight in protein so you that you have to supplement. 0.8g/lbs is the highest amount the body would actually use per day and even that is on the high side. It's more like 0.6g/lbs.
Whatever works for you. I just know I can save money and not torture myself for something that doesn't do anything. On another note, do you have foamy urine? I heard a high protein diet can do this.
Are you on a low carb diet? I read that if your on a high protein diet and have foamy urine you're not getting enough carbs so your just pissing away protein as in it's not going to gains. The other thing is kidney disease, but, usually in the morning the urine can be foamy since you've fasted overnight.
Here's the one and only diet that does not require you to scrutinize and calculate to high hell: The carnivore diet.
Eat fatty steak to satiety, drink water to quench thirst. Repeat when hungry or thirsty. Do what our ancestors did, and you shall reap the mental and physical benefits of the most resilient hunters on this planet.
"The Carnivore Diet" by Shawn Baker is a good resource to start off.
People also add mct oil which is just clean burning oil fuel. Derived from coconuts I believe. Collagen is also good, that will make your hair to grow. Just make sure collegen is organic, glyophospate collects in collegen. Just go slow on the oil. If you drink a bunch of oil, you will shit your pants. Just do a little and work up. Also, do it and skip breakfast, it will help you fast for a while. You feel good and can lose some weight. Then at night, you can eat a bunch of slow burn carbs and they don't mess you up so much. I eat a ton of butter, lard, tallow, and oil. It is great.
That is probably one of least healthy way to go about it tho.
Dietary fat should be seen as an unavoidable collateral of choosing proper protein and carb sources. Ingesting fat by itself and doing so willingly, is pure stupidity. I'm saying this as a certified personal trainer and nutritionist.
People putting butter in their coffee got that from the charlatan who made the "Bulletproof Diet", they listen to him for the same reason they listen to Dr. Jason Fung and Dr. Eric Berg, they all ultimately sell the same thing: absolution for their lack of accountability. "It's not your fault if you're obese, it's your hormones and you didn't have access to my magic trick, try this simili-keto garbage to lose all your water in the most unhealthy way so you can get the scale moving, results in 30 days! (after that you're on your own with permanent metabolic damage)"
Yeah, I agree on the Bulletproof thing - any "fad diet" is stupid. If you are not into a fitness program for competition or personal "ego" (pleasure? perception? whatever the best word is for "improving your body's aesthetics for your own gratification" might be), I'm not a big believer in measuring your food. It takes the enjoyment out of life, in my opinion.
That reminds me of a story. My great grandfather ate bacon, eggs, and biscuits slopped in butter and jam every morning.
Even at 75 he was the strongest person I have ever met, and he never once worked out or cared about protein or carb sources or if he ate fat or not. Everything he cooked had butter or lard in it.
I remember going to Six Flags or Cedar Point or something with him in the early 80s. He was born in 1901, so he was approaching 80, if not already there. We walked past the High Striker game, and some muscle bound, zero-fat guy was trying to show off and reach the bell. Grandpa walked kind of hunched over because of his back, said, "I'd like to try that!", and started rolling up his sleeves. The muscle guy laughed, and the barker tried to say "No", but you didn't tell Grandpa "No."
He grabbed that sledge hammer, and gave it a smack, DING! Muscle guy was astonished that some old guy did it so easily. He said the guy was cheating (the barker), and then demanded the barker step back so he could go again, and barely over halfway up. grandpa took the sledge, DING! Laughed and walked away.
Asked Grandpa how he did that, "I left the farm and drove railroad spikes for 3 years building the railroad from Ohio to Atlanta during the Depression. It's not how hard you do something, just make sure you do it right." Anywasy, a tangential story, but telling his stories keeps him alive, imo.
Yep, the days we live in have a lot to do with it as well.
Your great grandfather may not have cared about numbers, but it's likely that everything available would end up having near-perfect macros. He may have never performed an exercise for fitness purposes, but working on a farm constitutes more exercise than the average people will ever do in their life today.
The problem with today's fatties is that the hardest thing they have to do is press the handicap button to open doors and when they go through the check-out lane at any supermarket all the eye-grabbing stuff is calorie-dense nutrient-poor food designed to make them want more. So they stuff up on energy and do nothing with it.
That being said, my diet is pretty damn close to your grand grand father's.

Protein/Carbs/Fat
p.s that is way too high on the carb scale. I would abort the mission at this point.
