So, this is a local story. here is how it has changed over the past 2 days.

Yesterday, the afternoon news reported the "stampede" as a "few hundred" gatecrashers rushed the VIP security line and got into the concert venue. No injuries reported, not a big deal. Almost joked about it, as in "those crazy kids!" That was the tone of the story.

The 10PM news last night reported on the festival, how it was a "great event", praised local artist Travis Scott for puttin git together, mentioned how fun it was, and that even though there was some commotion, the event was 3 days, and tickets were sold out for Saturday. Listed the artists for Saturday.

This AM, the 5AM news. mentioned the festival, nothing about people being crushed, mentioned there were a few people "hospitalized" , nothing about cancellation or trampling or deaths.

The 8AM news - Cancellation, many injuries and deaths, people being "crushed" and "trampled", twitter vids of people laying on the ground, intercut with the stampede footage from 8 hours earlier. That story was repeated every 15 minutes until national feed came on at 9, and breaking story - same reporting. The local news was reporting it one way for 18 hours, then right when national news picked up story, the local story changed to match, and it was suddenly about "trampling".

Because it HAS to be "trampling" to avoid the question you just asked, "How the F did 8-11 young people just keel over from cardiac conditions if not from clotshot?"

I have just witnessed propaganda at work.
