That was pretty much the exact same conversation I had with my recently former employer and colleagues.

They are utterly ignorant or ambivalent to what the vaccine could do.

They thought it might be bad, but just couldn't care enough to even bother researching what the names of the vax were or what types they were.

Zero percent effort or sense of urgency, just comply and move on. Potential consequences be damned I guess.

its narcissism. had the same conversation with my soon to be ex landlady this morning. we are friends anyway, so shes all 'respect that you have concerns regarding the mandate' 'no, the mandate is a non issue' 'but its not something i really want to get in to now' 'and thats why half the country is about to die, because you dont want to talk about it.'
