When all this started there was word of some virus spreading in China and possibly coming over here. It was prudent to take some precautions then, before more was known about it.

Yeah, it was propaganda from the start, but not obviously at the beginning so I can't blame anyone for buying into it at first. The lefties had a different response, first scoffing it off then buying into it heavily (to this day).

Sad to say it took me a good bit longer. Cant really say when but it was probably after corona got named covid19 by WHO and before the shot started out as "purely optional". Fuck the WHO by the way.

OC-43 and one or two others are also related betacoronaviruses and have a lot of genetic similarity. But they are relatively innocuous strains that have been in the human population for thousands of years. This is a much worse virus which is about a thousand times more lethal.

This is an annoying technical argument which is incorrect, but more importantly irrelevant. There are many closely related viruses that cause very different diseases. SARS CoV 2 is an engineered bioweapon that spliced multiple bat coronaviruses together to create the most deadly strain possible.

All betacoronaviruses came originally from bats. They are very aggressive viruses in bats because bats have high metabolisms and and aggressive immune systems. These viruses tend to jump in to other species over time and become less aggressive. The cold viruses you refer to have naturally evolved to become less virulent over millennia. Its not a reasonable conclusion to make that betacoronaviruses are related therefore Covid is a common cold. Its not a typical flu either.

These are semantic games. Covid 19 is a very bad disease which will fuck up a lot of middle aged people seriously and will kill many older and overweight adults.
