Good old Marvin Heemeyer. God rest his soul. He'll never be taught in schools or in history because he was one of the few men in this country who, during a time fraught with insanity, made the first real "protest" that was heard everywhere. If I had my way of it, Heemeyer's protest would be taught in schools and children would grow up understanding how a real protest looks when in the hands of a man with an iron hard will and a message that needed to be heard no matter the opposition.
Technically, you're correct, but the view from the first post was that he didn't kill anyone inside of any of the properties that he destroyed. Considering that Heemeyer himself could have armed himself to the teeth in there and been shooting everyone one the sidewalk, he showed an almost saint-like level of restraint. I think that's what the first post was more referring to.
