Beat me to it. A bench trial looks like a very good option right now, maybe he'll waive his jury trial at the last minute. I'd be counseling him to do so, especially after the sham Floyd trial and the amount of coverage this case has been getting. Although, I am secretly hoping a judge somewhere has the balls to declare a mistrial with prejudice because the media has basically made a case un-triable.

That'd be based. I'm pessimistic though: I think if they do go for a bench trial the judge is just signalling "fairness" so that the media can later go "see, he even stopped them calling those poor dear anti-fascists victims and the redumblicans still can't accept it as a fair verdict."

Juries are retards and have no capacity to make judgments based on the facts presented. This judge seems to be capable, so you're probably right, that would be the best move.

It's not a win. Chauvin's judge also pretended the be on his side and even used the trust he built with that lie to fool Chauvin into not objecting to things he should have objected to. Then he denied him a mistrial dipite the fact that it later came out that one of the jurors was a BLM activist and lied to get on the jury.

Not that it matters a whole lot, and I'd imagine the judge knows it: There is zero chance of selecting an unbiased jury. No one is coming to this case without prior knowledge and everyone has an opinion. If the prosecution are pushing ahead it means they think the locals are an anti-white majority.
