The kosher slaughter scene in Der Ewige Jude (The Eternal Jew) are really gross. How much of this still goes on in modern times? Where's PETA?

The content of this video is good and for the most part accurate, although the editorializing is very off putting. I watched it to see if they tied the Third Reich animal cruelty laws with forbidding kosher practice and I wasn't disappointed, nor was I surprised that it glossed over it, showing sympathy for the poor jews who were forbidden from cutting an animal's through while conscious and letting it bleed to death.

Anyone interested in seeing what this actually entails and how grotesque and inhumane a practice this is, see "The Eternal Jew", easily found on the Web. It's intentionally shocking because and it doesn't pull any punches, showing tiny hat people slicing a cow's throat and watching in glee as it bleeds to death.
