Sometimes I help advise AOU which obscure sub to move a post to. Maybe force users to pick a sub and not leave the field blank so posts go to v/all - like when we decided to disable https://poal.co/s/Whatever/ nine months ago as way to mess with the users. Ultimately we found the "April Fools" joke randomizing usernames was a more effective way to mess with them. Now as you can see, AOU & I are currently milking users for shekels.

I say move this post, if someone gets upset, blame me. That's what AOU would do!

I have my own ideas for sustainability and it mostly involves going to p2p to negate server costs. Maybe I'll make a longer post about it but I suspect the cryptohaters on voat won't like it.
