So I’m watching “Texas Chainsaw Massacre”

And all I can think is “damn it I wish my chainsaw would start up that easy”

Electric chainsaws are getting better. Higher voltage, generates more torque. I'd be happy if they'd just put an electric start on the gas motor like a snowthrower has. A tiny starter motor wouldn't weigh much.

So being a guy from the south in the north who never had a snow blower wasn't aware if that. One day my father inlaw is there and plugs it in and whoosh starts right up. I've been pulling for a season and a half.

Apparently you can get an electric start add on kit for the saw depending on the model, but they don't come that way from the factory.

I bought a Stihl with the easy pull bullshit. I took it right back to the dealer and traded it for something normal. That's the most ignorant bullshit for someone who isn't handicapped or a woman.

My understanding of the Stihl easy start is that there's some spring mechanism to provide a mechanical advantage. And yes it's marketed to women.

Small engines in movies are as unrealistic as the guns in movies.

Recently, I had both generators start easily when I really needed them. I almost fucking fainted.

Chinese shit engines on ebay work better than Briggs and Kohler. Sad fact.

You're probably right. We've got some cheap Chinese pitbikes. They always start and run great. Idk if I've ever even needed the choke to get one running?

My splitter from harbor freight has a predator engine, and it starts and runs great even years later.

The only issue I've encountered is the Chinese shit runs really lean. Any asshole with a screwdriver and working ears can remedy that, though.

saw it once, I think, and from memory it wasn't bad.

No shit right? My stihl is pretty good bit I gotta step on the plate and pull several times if I haven't used it in awhile.

So? Never begin a statement with “so”.

Eat my ass 1icemonkey. If I want grammar lessons I’ll dig up the corpse of my 9th grade English teacher Mrs. Fleming , and hire a necromancer.

Its a discourse marker, like ‘well’, ‘now’ and ‘oh’.
