I didn't provide any e-mail. All I did was try to archive it to get past the paywall. Do it all the time for paywall sites. Someone had already archived it so was able to read it immediately.

I don't think this infraction deserves dog piling.

Some sites have tons of ads (I never see them) and most don't mind their attention grabbing efforts while trying to read about something (I do, which is why I have them blocked).

It wasn't paywalled for me. But I will try to remember to post the archive link in the future. I use Waterfox with Adblock Plus, so I don't see any ads either.
