the issue is, unless you have your own land, with your own trees, and the equipment to mass produce it, you run into working yourself harder than the fast food cunt and less pay.
The cost of the truck, permits to cut down trees in the province, the DISTANCE to said locations as many forests are owned by RM's and are not provincial crown land (which is far fuckin' north, transportation costs eat that up), the lake of availability of Birch (mostly poplar), etc...
No, cutting trees for firewood/wood is a good side gig. It's a hobby for me.
What is profitable is getting your license to cut down trees in town, but that just isn't the same. That's work.
