Better than Ivermectin for Covid - Quercetin

Tip of the hat to another Voater for this one. I researched it and yes: good stuff. There has only been 7 peer reviewed studies of this shit (vs like 235 or so studies for Ivermectin). In those studies it performs better than Ivermectin when taken early. One Turkish study looked at its use for real real sick hospitalized covid patients and those folks did worse than the control/nothing group. The great news is you can pick this up on Amazon or your local health food store. Runs @$.14-.30/per tablet.

500 Mg twice a day. The Thorne stuff works better, but the Quercetin with Bromaline also was studied and is successful. Optional: take some moderate vitamins of Zinc, D3 and C and you'll be good to go. Once you're in the IU, you're fucked and this shit won't help you. So don't wait.

Interestingly, in a review of the 20 or so easily obtained over the counter drugs predominantly studied for fight Covid, this is like 5th most effective and Ivermectin is @10th. The top 4 do not have enough evidence to verify that they work great as they are promising, Quercetin looks like our best chance currently. If you have an immediate need and can't leave the house, a Clariton (yeah, the regular allergy pill) twice a day is suppose to be somewhat effective but has not been extensively studied for this usage.

Is it better than Ivermectin? Who knows. It depends on what the studies were looking at, who was included and how many subjects there are. Also randomized vs non-randomized.

Ivermectin and quercetin probably work quite differently. Im not sure if inhibitory concentrations can be reached at 1000 mg a day although its possible. The greatest benefit of quercetin is probably its antinflamatory properties.

The good news is they aren’t really conterindicated. Quercetin is thought to mildly interact with ivermectin though the interaction is probably pretty negligible. The FLCCC is recommending that these two treatments be used together although they recommend that they be taken 12 hrs apart. They are also recommending that quercetin be taken simulaneously with vitamin C since a study has shown the vitamin C and quercetin may boost each other’s actions.

There are multiple flavonoids that have antiviral and antiinflamatory activities but quercetin is probably the best studied of these. Green tea has high levels of EGCG which is another powerful flavonoid that may help. The colored part of citrus peels is another source of multiple flavonoids, as are purple fruits and berries. Alot of immune supplements have elderberry in them for this reason. Anyway the green tea would not be a bad idea if you had covid. Some people recommend turmeric and ginger which are phenols similar in chemical structure to flavonoids and are probably doing some of the same things.

Pepsid might be prefereable to clariton. Its a highly specific antihistimine that seems to have a good effect in covid patients. They are recommending upto 12 x 20mg pepsid a day and pepsid is pretty safe and is probably countering some of the immune dysfunction associated with covid. Taking some aspirin should help too.

Everyone should be rinsing with listerine antiseptic formulas (containing eucalyptol, menthol, thymol) and using 1% iodine nose spray 4x a day for the first 5 to 7 days of symptoms. You can make 1% iodine nose spray with boiled/distilled water and a bottle of 10% povodone iodine which is available at every drug store (the brown stuff). Just mix a ratio of 9 to 1 water to iodine and put it in a nose spray bottle. This is a risk free way to kill off a lot of the virus if you do it several times a day for the first week or so.

FLCCC site has good recommendations for early out patient treatment.

Zinc is not optional, Quercetin + Zinc is the protocol.

Zinc and quercetin work together in the body. Quercetin helps enhance the absorption of zinc, and both have similar antiviral functions. Zinc is a positively charged ion. This makes it difficult for it to penetrate the fat soluble cell membrane, as they are not permeable to positively charged ions. This means that zinc needs a transporter to cross the cell membrane. Many fat-soluble nutrients can do this, including curcumin and EGCg. But quercetin seems to be particularly useful as a zinc ionophore. It may also enhance the antiviral activities of zinc.

Covid is not dangerous.

I took all three Quercetin, HCQ, and Ivermectin along with D, C, zinc while infected.
I was concerned with cross reactions so ratio of each changed throughout. Q for months prior to infection as prophylactic, added 250mg HCQ every other day when first family member became infected on day-10 for me, Abandoned Q when I became infected day 1 and increased HCQ 500-750mg with Iver day 2 and 4.
My symptoms "stabalized" by day 3-4 and slowly disappeared by day 14.

I was last out of 5 family members to catch it and don't think i would have if i hadn't been sleeping with my sick spouse.

The stress of covid may have created diabetic response that has mostly improved since recovery, urination and dehydration. Could be i was undiagnosed diabetic and covid put me over threshold. Similar to gestational diabetes. Im awaiting test results.

Big deal. I've had the flu also, and I got better.

My experience with Covid was a 5 if a 10 represents my previous worst flu experience. Covid symptoms were unlike any flu Ive experienced.
What is your point? That I shouldnt tell others my experience with the medication subject of this post? You seem retarded always trying to downplay covid, particularly when nobody is exaggerating its symptoms.

You seem retarded always trying to downplay covid, particularly when nobody is exaggerating its symptoms.

Thank you, anonymous internet guy for your narrative. Why don't I believe you? It's probably because I think you're making this up to create fear, confusion, and distrust in our own personal experience. What's being sold as "COVID 19" is an imaginary sickness that's masquerading as a "pandemic". It doesn't exist, and neither do you, Schlomo. I can smell an Israeli disinformationist a mile away.

An Israeli disinformationist who's against the jew juice? If my experience made you fearful, confused, and distrustful then you're not only a retard but also a faggot.

Yes. millions of people every year get bad flu.

[ - ] HughBriss 2 points 2.6 yearsOct 11, 2021 08:25:03 ago (+2/-0)

I doubt there's any such thing as a strain of influenza called COVID 19. It's never been isolated, its existence is only theoretical, and doctors and scientists are treating symptoms, not any actual virus.

[ - ] Youdgetfuckedfaggot 3 points 2.6 yearsOct 11, 2021 08:40:44 ago (+3/-0)

Then it's either a rhinovirus, pneumonia, corona or something else, take your pick. Your doubts mean nothing.

[ - ] HughBriss 2 points 2.6 yearsOct 11, 2021 08:57:20 ago (+2/-0)

So, you're saying I should shut up, read more government public health web sites, and give in to the fear mongering, disinformation, and propaganda? Fuck off.

[ - ] i_scream_trucks 0 points 2.6 yearsOct 12, 2021 11:47:06 ago (+0/-0)

coronaviruses are common colds and flu.

they told you from day 1 there was no actual pandemic, by numbers science or law. anything outside of that is part of the fucking gaslight.

coronavirus has been endemic in humans for tens of thousands of years and is almost never even noticed as long as youre not a fat fuck.

They will be banning it soon.

you know where you can get quercetin? (aside from the vitamin section of the supermarket)

fresh fruit and vegetables.

youre welcome.
