AR550 target and stand

Bought the plate. Welded up the stand from scrap steel. Ready for .338

That’s an impressive stand and looks heavy enough to withstand toppling, but should it require, a couple of stake holes drilled in the base will keep you from having to travel the distance back and forth to right it

Nice. I made mine out of wood, with the same plate and all that. I originally meant for the wood to be replaceable but I've not had to do that yet.

I wouldn't call it good aim, I just seem to not accidentally hit it. And it's my only one so it sees a lot of use.

Yeah, this was overkill for sure. My buddy did the welding, he insisted. I have others hanging from sawhorses, some metal, some wood. Whichever, it’s all good!👌

My rig is PVC pipes and elbows in the same shape. Drilled two holes across the top pipe to thread fishing line through. Works great because i can't pick up something as heavy as yours and carry it out down range, and the PVC folds away nicely in my jeep.

Be careful of spalling ricochet, it looks like the angles on those side/vertical supports might catch it, but up top it looks like an exposed right angle
