Have Vermonters lost their minds?

Supposedly Vermont is one of the most vaccinated states in the US. I was just talking to my very-hippy-and-all-natural friend and both she and her husband took the shot. She said almost all her friends have, too.

I'm pretty surprised. The people I knew in Vermont were big on being organic to the point of not shaving, using a microwave, drinking out of plastic, etc. But yet they're going to inject themselves with poison because "I'm not a scientist and it's for the greater good".

Who's the purist now? Bunch of hypocrites.

Organic vegan shit is just social signaling, it's not about health. Same with the clot shot. You shouldn't be surprised.

I had a gf back in the day that was moderately into all that vegan, organic, whatever crap spouting nonsense about oppressed niggers and privilege. She also had really severe celiac. When she'd make a big deal about ordering gluten free I'd always explain to the waitress that she had a legit medical reason. After a while she asked why I felt the need to say something.

"I don't want people to hate you. When hipsters make a big deal about being a picky eater everyone sees through the charade, at best they see you as making a scene for attention, but usually it's seen as you rubbing your wealth and privilege in their face. Like a rich person throwing away food while starving children look on."

Needless to say that was the end of her shopping at whole foods and making a big deal about being gluten free without mentioning her severe reaction. She would still spout lefty cuck nonsense, but wasn't as egregious about it.

Agreed. I've got issues with gut candida that make me essentially have to eat a low-carb diet so people think I'm just jumping on the keto bandwagon

I've heard this from other celiacs, the popularity made it harder from the doubters, but easier with all the new products. I would be scared to eat at a restaurant that advertises GF, who knows if the kitchen staff knows or cares about contamination.

I've had the same situation here too.... People who are very very strict about everything being BPA-free, organic, etc.... And couldn't wait to inject themselves with experimental mystery liquid and avoiding anyone who has the audacity to remain pure

That just doesn't add up! There's a juice bar in town that's been antimask and pro-freedom this whole time, it's always packed and maybe only 1/4 of the people wear masks. But my old boss who manages a vitamin store and takes supplements by the spoonful is thinking if moving to Canada because he's so appalled that people aren't masking and vaxing. It's surprising who falls for this and who doesn't.
