For a woman to be healthy, she must overall have a great and proper balance of feminine and masculine interests. This way, she could be a great mother and a great wife by being a good companion with her husband. This belief in balance is in stark contrast with the trend of modern hyper-masculine women
The modern trend of hyper-masculinizing women and calling them “tomboys” is very much a corruption of what tomboys were originally. Without a proper balance of interests, a hyper-masculine woman is no longer a tomboy but entirely turns into something else.
Just as a completely feminine woman makes for a terrible company by having zero interest in the personal interest of her husband or son, it is equally troublesome when a woman is hyper-masculine.
With the National Socialist primary concern of promoting healthy and large families, the promotion of hyper-masculine women would not have been allowed or encouraged.

They wouldn't be butch dykes - they should be pretty and feminine so as to not completely lose all of their charm and push away mens' desire to care for them, but they also can't be weak. Weak women that can survive no hardships are useless in all but the easiest of times.
