Nope, they do it regardless of whether they're right or not -- it's dopamine addictive behavior. The announcement is one of smugness, a declaration that they're clever enough to "spot" the subtle telltale signs of fakery, but everyone else is too dumb to understand it so why bother explaining?

In a way, this is a form of wokeness: "Everyone is fooled except me!" vs. "Everyone is racist except me!" It's equally infuriating because both require similar levels of willful ignorance and retardation. Just like a purple-haired self-loathing white woman might claim something is "systemic" or "problematic," but refuse to explain it, retards like this guy will say something is fake, but never elaborate in any meaningful way.

You can explain every bit of context that suggests why a thing might not be fake and it'll just bounce off them and make them see you as dumb -- they don't care if they're actually right, they've already concluded they are.

In other words, it's NPC behavior.
