Make sure your browser allows header http cookies https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/HTTP/Headers/Cookie

Without it chat cannot authenticate your account/login.

I went to preferences and privacy/security and "manage permissions" and then add www.voat.xyz and set to allow. And then restarted firefox.

What browser are you using?

Edit to add: another user tried to get into the room with Safari and there was no success.

A few guys in the movie room have suggested a different browser: "brave works, gotta open jewtube, close and then it works".

I cant use a different browser since I'm using proxychains to stay private. Brave won't work with proxychains. What are you using to show the videos? Youtube works and other video sites work too.

Youtube is what is playing on the page but I am not sure how system has written the code for the whole page (which includes a chat window). A few of the guys have noted that the page seems to run like cytube if that helps at all. I have put a PM to system for help on your issue.

Do you have to do anything special to get cytu.be to display for you? Just wondering aloud if something needs to be enabled for the new chat rooms on the site to operate in your browser. Did chat ever work for you here? Hope to hear from system soon.
