All regulations of all local schools should be local to the population of the parents that are have kids attending that school. That's the way it always used to be. The PTA should run the place and they should be able to hire and fire teachers and override any decisions. That's the way it always used to be. The idea that any of this stuff should be organized at a national level and have some sort of hierarchy of the national level that local schools have to sort of genuflect to is all complete b*******. And of course some of this stuff that's going on right now is why many places have withdrawn their Association to the national School boards.
