While both California and Florida make regular headlines, there's plenty of other states competing for the crazy crown.
Take Illinois, for example. Much like California, it's held hostage by batshit crazy cities; like Chicago. Cities that have so much influence in the state, they can pass legislation that are little more than giant middle fingers to other states.
This bill was a response to the Texas abortion law.
The Illinois bill would do just the opposite. If passed, it would allow anyone to sue another person for unintended pregnancy, regardless of circumstance or consent. A person could also sue anyone who commits sexual assault, domestic violence, or abuse. The civil action damages would start at $10,000.
If the case is won, half of the money would go to a public state fund to pay for abortions for residents of states like Texas.
While Planned Parenthood Illinois Action hasn't taken an official stance on the bill, they say Texans seeking abortion are already flowing into Illinois.
(Hilariously, most of the images in the article are from other states and even from other countries.)
Of course, Illinois is no stranger to legislative child murder. In 2019, Illinois' kike governor signed a bill that would strip abortion restrictions that have existed in the state since 1975.
The Illinois law, effective immediately, repeals the state’s current abortion law, adopted in 1975. In its place is language in which certain elements are removed, such as: spousal consent; criminal penalties for doctors who perform abortions; waiting periods; and other restrictions on facilities where abortions are performed. The legislation also clarifies the definitions of viability and health.
Many provisions of the state’s 1975 abortion law have been enjoined by the courts, including criminal penalties for doctors who offered abortion care. The new law also would repeal the Partial Birth Abortion ban, which imposed restrictions on doctors performing abortions on women who were 20 weeks pregnant or later. The ACLU says about 90 percent of all abortions are performed within the first 13 weeks of pregnancy.
So the next time Florida Man sticks his dick in a lawnmower or California legalizes something like pederasty, take a moment to think of Illinois being one step away from putting a coat hanger on the state flag.
