I spent a lot of time out there over this last summer. The elevation around Telluride really messed with my mind.

When I got to 14,000" I experienced lost time and motionlessness. Much like like the alien abduction people describe. Fortunately I know about hypoxia and didn't get lost in an X-files-state-of-mind.

Colorado is beautiful. Too bad about the politicians, but natural beauty is always free. One day, I'll have a giant house out there, when I can pay to make sure everybody else in government can fuck off.
