And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire ๐ was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood; and the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed. (Revelation 8:8-9)
The sea ๐ is come up upon Babylon๐ฝ๐บ๐ธ: she is covered with the multitude of the waves thereof. (Jeremiah 51:42)
A prudent man foreseeth the evil (๐โ๏ธ๐๐ฝ๐"๐บ๐ธ"โ๏ธโ ๏ธโฐ๏ธ๐ดโโ ๏ธ) and hideth himself; but the simple pass on, and are punished. (Proverbs 27:12)
So Jeremiah wrote in a book all the evil that should come upon Babylon๐ฝ๐บ๐ธ, even all these words that are written against Babylon๐ฝ๐บ๐ธ. And Jeremiah said to Seraiah: When thou comest to Babylon, and shalt see, and shalt read all these words; then shalt thou say: O Lord, Thou hast spoken against this place, to cut it off, that none shall remain in it, neither man nor beast, but that it shall be desolate foreverโผ๏ธ And it shall be when thou hast made an end of reading this book, that thou shalt bind a stone to it, and cast it into the midst of Euphrates: And thou shalt say: Thus shall Babylon sink, and shall not rise from the evil that I will bring upon her: and they shall be weary. (Jeremiah 51:60-64)
And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying: Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon๐ฝ๐บ๐ธ be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all. (Revelation 18:21)
And as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood ๐๐ฝ๐บ๐ธ came, and destroyed them all. Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; but the โsame dayโ that Lot went ๐๐ผ โOUTโ of Sodom it rained fire ๐ ๐บ๐ธ โ and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. โEven thusโ shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed. (Luke 17:26-30) ๐ ๐
The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly ๐๐ผ โOUTโ of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished. (2 Peter 2:9) ๐ ๐
But know that the LORD hath ๐๐ผ "set apart him" that is godly for Himself: the LORD will hear when I call unto Him. (Psalm 4:3) ๐ ๐
The Lord hath made all things for Himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil. Every one that is proud in heart is an abomination to the Lord: though hand join in hand, he shall not be unpunished. (Proverbs 16:4-5)
