Since when are cattle factory farmed? They must be referring to dairy cattle.

I think they're just referring to any kind of outfit that mass produces steer for slaughter. If you've ever been to Kansas, half the state is a giant steer ranch. The word factory is applied to convey connotations of poor conditons. This seems like an attempt to destroy rural America's prized source of income while reducing the food supply at the same time. Classic elitist depopulation strategies.

Ranchers generally don't fuck around and raise shit quality beef cattle, unless they do things different in Kansas than they do in Texas. The slaughter and packing facilities are another matter, but the cattle aren't raised in poor conditions the way chicken and pigs are.
