What a way to end the year! The National Finals 2021 at Santa Pod Raceway was our last outing for the car. We set to improve on the 7.66 we ran last time out!
It wasn't an easy run either, we had a rather scary moment in Q3 where the oil breather tank snapped off it's mounts and when the chute came out it fell forward onto the tyre and lodged itself between the wing sending the car hard right. Thankfully minor cosmetic damage was the only issue, we repaired the car by midnight and was back in action for Round 1 Sunday Morning where we set our PB 60ft and went over 180mph for the first time.
Next year looks really promising and we can't wait for the Easter event to come round but first there's some winter jobs to do!
