Watching the Popes smouldering ashes and a River of pedo priests blood filling the gutter like Dresden, in a crowd of cheering believers, would no doubt draw millions of lax Protestant tired of not having a single molecule of political power for 100 years, into the Catholic Church imo.

That Jesus guy said some good things, and did some awesome shit, ya know if he actually existed. Why not just take his teachings along with the teaching of other spiritual mystics and apply those to your life and leave organized religion alone? Maybe it's all just a metaphor and we die a tiny death for our sins every time we commit one. Maybe the Christ was an example and not an idol?
