This is a terrible way to evangelize for Linux. There's not a single distribution that "just works" without having to fuck with it, and most users don't want to have to tinker with it or use the terminal just to do basic things.
It's like how you use your car. If you're a mechanic and enjoy working on cars, it's not a problem to do customization or your own maintenance, but most of us aren't. We just want travel with a minimum of bother.
Windows sucks, and Windows 10 sucks the hardest, there's no doubt about it, but Win7 at least works without needing specialized knowledge just to operate it.

My analogy comparing Linux with owning a car is still apt. Ever have a car where you have to pull over and tinker with it every 50 miles? Or have to mess with it just to make it start? And it's not because there's something wrong with the car, but it's like that by design? Yeah, that's why Linux sucks.
As if Windows JustWorks™. I installed Linux on all of my families computers and it actually just works. In the past ten years I can count the number of tech support calls on one hand.
Networking computers in Linux is a pain in the ass. At least with Win7, I don't have to learn how to use the networking application (like Samba) and edit the configuration file manually.
I have a strong dislike for needing to memorize code and commands to do things that are automated in other OSs. I have a notebook with Linux code and instructions, because it's too much to memorize. I keep it nearby whenever I attempt to use some Linux distribution, and God help me if I can't find that notebook.
So, that's why I'm a "mouse person", and that's why any Linux distribution is inappropriate for must users.
Memorizing is for plebs. "software --help" is where it's at. Or if it's something you do frequently, just do a "history | grep 'what I remember'" or just write a script and then execute that instead.
The reason I'm not fond of using GUI is because it is so much unnecessary trouble to remember or find all the stupid icons or options hidden away in some sub-menus. And then with every update those get shuffled around to make you feel stupid all over again.
By the way, cli is optional for the popular Linux distros. They work more or less exactly like Windows. But of course, if you ever get tired of that you can fire up your trusty cli.
Gaming in linux is still mostly a drag. I had one game working fine via steam then some anticheat shit broke it in linux. And that's not the first time that happened.
Work and school on the windows 10 laptop. Everything else on the windows 7 desktop. Dark ops on the ibm thinkpad with Linux. Of course I never consider any of it to be totally secure. I don't have a need for that at the moment.
