I was having a shit day the other day, pushing the pram with the baby screaming in it, refusing all usual sleep ques.

I have seen only a couple of bees since winter ended, and I have a lot of flowers.

Anyway no paying much attention to the world on my walk, a masked man says something and waves his arms. I can't understand him and think he might be panicking about my lack of mask. So I change direction a little to avoid him and hear his warning this time as I see it - a hive and a massive swarn he is trying to catch, I had changed direction to be walking closer into it but I didn't want to cross the road so I closed the pram hood and gave as much berth as I could and said "I've been wondering where all the bees were and it turns out you took them all." He asks if I want to cross the road to avoid them but I don't and say "Nah, I'm not stealing their honey I'll be fine" and walk slowly through the bees. Baby goes silent and it was a really cool zen moment walking through a bee swarm and they just parted for me and the parm a little and didn't touch us. I checked the baby just after and no bees got in but then the crying started again.
