I've talked to a few Libertarians in real life. One of them, who was probably in his mid 40's said (paraphrasing), "All I want to do is move down to Central America and find some quiet place and fish with my dad forever. If we had Libertarianism everywhere I could do that." A nice thought for sure, and he seemed like a fairly intelligent person.

What Libertarians don't understand, is that a few humans always come together and form gangs. Then the gang will tell this guy that he has to fish for them now, and bring them fish everyday or they'll rape and kill his dad.

They also seem to think that without any regulation, something will keep large corporations from enslaving the entire planet, like they aren't already.

Libertarianism is a child-like idealism that wouldn't even work in a small isolated ethno-state. I understand kids wanting it because it sounds nice, just like I'm sure Communism sounds nice when you're young.

I used to be a libertarian til i grew up and understood allowing degeneracy corrupts and destroys society.

Now im a hardcore fascist. But you could say im a fascist libertarian. Protecting freedom, and decency, from all that would corrupt it. We should all be absolutely free to do whats good. And those that create degeneracy should be publicly executed so that those of us who can actually handle the responsibility of freedom can continue to be free, and so our children can do the same, without the world turning into a faggot infested communist pedo fuck fest.

The reason they're able to grow so big is largely because of government, not despite it. The market sectors with the most entrenched big players are always the ones with the heaviest intervention, and the intervention came first.

If you're talking about actual physical violence my answer is a heavily armed poplace that trains regularly. The average adult male citizen should expect to have to personally enforce the law and defend his nation.

Right now it's concievable that a corporation with a small security force could take over society because we're already ruled by a corporation with a small security force. That's the primary thing we need to change.

I have more specific ideas about how policing, law and military service could work if you're interested.

It does though. Some systems are dysgenic and will gradually breed out the traits that made them successful. Other systems are wildly inefficient and will end up wasting most of the product of their labour.

Private property solves most problems by forcing people to be productive in order to gain power, and dealing with corruption by ensuring competition.

Not really, monopolies inevitably get top heavy and piss their consumers off. The reason they become stable is when they manage to coopt a government to keep out their competition. No matter how white a centrally planned system is it'll eventually drown in corruption and inefficiency.
