All this talk about free speech is not the issue. There is no such thing as "free speech". There are times and places when you have some kind of freedom of speech, but this freedom is not absolute. It's always limited in some way, ESPECIALLY by the standards of other people, who simply won't allow you to be at a certain place if you're going to speak in a way that's offensive to them.
This is one of those places. The community on this board is pretty clear about what kind of behavior is acceptable and what is unacceptable.

Banning porn is a slippery slope to banning shitposting, i.e. shitting the place up, borderline spam, and banning unpopular opinions. However, if System has the strength to ignore requests to ban the above material, and to only ban porn, then there is no slippery slope.
Ultimately, it's System's choice. If it were my website, porn wouldn't have been allowed in the first place, but I'm a lazy bastard who can't be bothered to set up his own website, so my opinion is largely irrelevant.

I am very grateful for the website and read new every day.
I had an idea a few years ago when reddit went sjw to make a site like this, but lacked the technical expertise.
My idea would not have been a free site. Requiring paying members would keep a lot of drama away - at least to my thinking.
It wouldn't be much - maybe $2-$4 per month, but that could be recouped with activity.
For example: $4 per month buys you 40 "votes" that you can give to posts or comments.
Each upvote reduces the cost of the next month (or maybe further out, not sure on what is most effective) for the person receiving the vote.
If a person got 40 votes before the next month, the site would be free for them.
A downvote would remove a vote from somebody. 40 downvotes (in theory) would mean they couldn't vote on any posts or comments.
votes would not show up to other members. each user would see their current "credit" upon logging in.
The drawback is obviously the fucking kikes and their (((payment processing))) bullshit, along with removal of privacy and other bullshit.
However, using prepaid gift cards could work, again in theory, to keep people anonymous.
I would gladly pay for a site like this to keep it drama free but still full legal free speech.
