I love this song's catchy melody. And seeing the kids and elderly people dancing this very traditional dance is adorable and heartwarming.

Lucky you. It'd been my dream to visit. I've knitted traditional Latvian mittens (three pair so far) and there are knitting tours you can go on there to learn from the locals. But with all this COVID nonsense I'll probably never qualify to fly there.
I looked it up. If you can arrange a positive covid test you should be free to travel there up to six months after you've "recovered." You need some kind of US digital passport to do it. Depending on how much of your soul you have to sell to get it it might be worthwhile.
If you do go there, make sure you visit a restaurant called "Ala Folksbar". I went there once and it was amazing. They have a honey beer with hemp in it that sounded like hipster nonsense but was one of the best beers I've ever had.
