That's been going on in Canada for years and years. A one year wait for a specialist appointment is part and parcel.

They blme the US by saying doctors train in Canada but move the US. Doctors make a tiny bit more on average in Canada.

They train China students for more money, and push Canadians to the back of the line, unless of course they aren't White males.

I lived in NZ during the 80s. Probably half of the nurses were Filipinas or Indonesian. And at least a third of the doctors were Indian.

One of my personal stories - injured my knee. After the swelling went down if I tried to run or ride a bike it would swell and be painful for a week or so. Rinse and repeat. Got to see the Dr., "do you need to run or ride a bike for your job? No? Then don't run or ride a bike".

Oh fuck. The imported doctors and nurses in Canada are absolutely horrible, but in reality, finding a White doctor that isn't fucked is impossible. There are no GPs taking new patients anyway, so you have to use walk in clinics and get your 5 minutes with whoever is there.

The only thing you can do is not get a sickness you can't get rid of yourself.

The NDP party gets credit for bringing socialist medicine and when the head of the party needed heart surgery, he high tailed it to the US. They've been robbing the health and welfare budget for the homeless they created and to run obtusely stupid psychology based social programs to reprogram people, funding art and self serving feminists since the early 1980's.

The failure of socialism is all around Canadians if they care to look. Same thing in the US who has a population that refuses to acknowledge they live in a socialist country and everything that isn't working, isn't working because of that socialist intervention.

In Ireland imported doctors aren't even the problem, the local ones are often just as bad. The entire medical industry needs mountains more competition. I'd deregulate the lot of them and not look back.

Well he wasn’t wrong.

I have never in all of my life been treated by a doctor taught in Canada.

In fairness, if she had five months to live then it was probably too late. Still shows the absolute state of the NHS though. Same issue in the Ireland with the HSE, it can take years to get appointments when days matter.

Even worse: The government can now shut down private hospitals and use your money to pay them to stay empty "because virus."

She was spared the agony of chemo and was gonna die anyway, so there’s that.
