My thoughts exactly. Resignation alone is not adequate punishment, especially for something as heinous as exposing young children to pornographic images. A hundred lashes followed by marching them across town with the word "PEDOPHILE" branded across their backs would be far more suitable.

What we need are laws that are reasonable and enforced. If anything the mayor is complicit by willingly refraining from law enforcement. If the law shouldnt be enforced it shouldnt exist. If it should then casually ignoring it should only be done when there is good reason such as extenuating circumstances.
