If I were that guy I would have focused on the metal bar part of the door handle. If you could break that off you might be able to operate the lock by hand. So you'd need to pry some metal off something somewhere. Maybe start with something flat to wedge it in between there. ...he didn't even try to use the bucket for anything. Maybe there was a key and $1000 inside the bucket.

One of the video's comments pointed out something clever. By not reinforcing the dead-end door like the others, the owner managed to get the thief to wear himself out trying to get out the wrong way.
