Nobody needs herbal supplements for anything.

They extract one component nd intensify it without the accompanying secondary components that nature evolved over the history of earth. Nobody ever thinks they're the ones that are going to blow out their liver or kidneys. Normal people who want to dose themselves with remedies are victims of the manic nitpicking of jewmedia.

Eat whole foods and exercise. A list of "ingredients" isn't your friend and sane people don't eat anything with a list of ingredients on the label.

Totally agree concerning many extracts and whole herbs can yield excellent results.

Another strategy is to combine extracts with the whole herb to include the all-important supporting cast as you correctly point out.

4. Flaxseed or flaxseed oil in your diet

Flaxseed is phytoestrogenic last I looked, just like soy and tofu.

This is terrible mainstream science.
Cruciferous vegetables are terrible for your thyroid and we live in a hypothyroidism pandemic.
Flaxseed contains phytoestrogens which us as bad as oestrogen. Flaxseed oil is worse because it has the added disadvantage of being a pufa that oxidises super fast and create AGEs in your body.
