Grocery Carts

Someone once posted that measure of a person can be found through what they do with a grocery cart when they are finished with it. There are no rules or laws regarding what you do with your cart. It is just your own values and moral and ethical compasses that dictate what happens.

If you put the cart in the corral or take it all the way back to the store, you are showing concern and just a bit of respect for civilization. If you leave in an adjacent parking spot, you don't give a shit. Of course, if you had to put in a quarter to get the cart, this theory flies out the window. Additionally, if you push (or drive the handi-cart) out of the parking lot and all way to your neighborhood, then you're a nigger and we expected nothing less, because, of course, niggers don't belong in civilized society.

Anyone here actually work as a stock boy? I did. Real big box store. I was the best cart wrangler in town. Kept them all organized, clean, and available. Before the motorized helper.

NEWS FLASH...You do not have to return them to the cart bin. That's my job. Leave then wherever you want. Just not where they could roll and hit someones car. I got the rest.

I NEVER showed up to work surprised I had to collect carts. Do you go to work surprised you gotta flip waffles? Is your mom surprised she has to wipe off the stripper poal(so;-) After a hair cut do you sweep up your own hair? Is your barber surprised there is hair on the floor?

I detest it when people leave their cart in the parking lot or on a sidewalk. I usually either take it back into the store or put it in the cart corral. Sometimes the cart has been left in the parking lot and i'll grab it and use it. When i'm done with it i'll either offer it to someone else or put it in the corral.

I help someone (for pay) and sometimes they leave the cart in the handicap zone. I get out of the car and go put it into the corral, all the while the person is yelling at me. Brings a smile to my face to demonstrate that they're an asshole.

Shopping cart is one thing. A better example: putting hardware store shit back where you found it.

How many times do I find wrong shit in the bin, or worse - accidentally buy 1 of the wrong size fitting , washer, nut , screw , whatever.

That's a pet peeve of mine as well. One thing different, is that almost everyone uses a cart, not everyone shops for nuts and bolts.

I leave my carts where they can be picked up with ease by other shoppers or an employee. Sometimes this means returning to cart return, wheeling it up on the curb, or setting it inside another cart that is already lonesome.

I don't run them back every time. I rarely even use a cart past check out.

But I always think of the next person when it comes to returning shit to the right bin at hardware stores.

I saw a nigger woman drive a motorized scooter that the grocery store provides to her car and leave it in the handicap parking spot in the pouring down rain. All the while I kept saying to myself “ no fucking way” and “ she’s not just going to leave that there. Surely there’s a caregiver with her to return it for her.” Nope. Should have done something.

It bugs me every time i go shopping how half assed people put the cart back in the corral. My Grocery store of choice has two different sizes of carts. And every time the corral is a mess, no carts neatly pushed into each other, sizes all mixed up. Often no more space to ad another cart, so i have been sorting and neatly stacking carts lately. Designing the corrals so one set of carts is too wide for one stall and the other set too tall for the other stall would solve this issue, by and large.
It's just as much laziness on behalf of management for not thinking it through.
Still doesn't solve the problem of shitty people, though.

I should have explained better: one set of carts would be tall and skinny; the other, wide and short.
The stalls would be designed to match this, meaning each type would only fit in its respective stall.

Littering is another measure. 99% of the time there's no consequences for littering. You look at ghettos and there's always litter everywhere, but if you go to white neighborhoods there's almost none. Some blue haired dyke would say it's because the whites pay niggers to clean it up, but that's bullshit. It's because niggers have no problem shitting where they eat. I smoke cigarettes, and it bothers me to no end to see people throw butts out their car window or flick them in the street. It's really not hard to just put it out and hold on to it until you come across a trash can. Most of the time I put the butt in my pocket, I already smell like a fucking cigarette so no big deal.
