I'm logged into the voat.xyz side so it's probably the same count when you're logged into talk.lol.

I don't go on very many websites other than voat but I'll do my part spreading the talk.lol link.

It'd be great to get more members so I think a good tactic would be to share posts from the more benign subs like v/welding, v/gardening, v/sewing, etc., to attract people.

What say you?

It reminds me of the first time Voat went down, and we all ended up on preview.Voat. It was just quality users and no shills. It was a brilliant three days of posting and conversation.

It's the only way the site will grow. Search engines these days are useless and I do no marketing or pushing the site. The number of users on the site is consistently between 50-100, sometimes a bit lower or a bit higher, but it takes MANY more accounts to get to those consistent levels. For example in the past 3 days 867 different accounts have been active. This is why similar sites have such a hard time getting started because it takes a mass amount of users to get the ball rolling, and even then it's not enough. So there's a chance here of growing into something special, or dwindling down into nothing. I'll try my best to not fuck up, and with you guys sharing the url I don't see any reason why it won't continue to grow.

Maybe you should reach out to 16chan for banner-advertisements
I know poa.st does and their userbase surged

Most people don't even know voat is back... Or even if such a site even exists

Then again... Quality over Quantity... The last few days we had quality posts and little to no shills, must be because of the jewish new year, everyone's on vacation...

It can be good and bad, smaller can mean more quality. Even Poal is getting larger and simply has a lot of posts, but not at the same quality as here right now.

I'd say 16chan and consumeproduct may be a good place to get users.

I was on poal since voat shut down. Move when I heard this was going. Something about poal is off, they think the same as we do but the site sucks because they have a faggy culture.
