he was pretty miserable serving the Communists apperantly after smoking weed with some Canadians in India he shifted his allegiance to a more pro western stance
they (the Russians) threatened him with assassination but he told them to come and try him, as he's armed and doesn't give a fuck spoiler, they didn't come.
some say he was a biological jew but i don't really care what he was, he was trying to warn America/Canada about the subversion and few listened sadly.. the subversion was already complete by that point...
There is no leaving one of those, when you are in, you are in for life.
And no one can ever trust soneone who claims to have left an intelligence agency, or anyone who claims to defect from one, because either of those things could be done as a part of the operations being conducted by the agency they were a part of.
I'm saying his involvement with the kgb means he can never be fully trusted, ever.
Potentially all of it, some of it, or none of it, we have no way of knowing.
Not even he has a way of knowing, perhaps they filled him up with misinformation or disinformation and sent him over the way.
I'm saying it's a good standard practice to never give your trust to anyone who was ever a part of an intelligence community, especially those who claim to have left them.
Everything he said was truth, everything he said became reality the only thing he didn't mention was the jews, and sadly this is an important piece of the puzzle
but i think he was legit, i think we can't judge a man based on his past but rather his actions
that's like saying Bobby Fischer is irrelevant because his mother was jewish
I too think that ideas should stand on their own merits, the source is irrelevant.
Unfortunately there are people on this site who strongly disagree with that approach.
They refuse to address the claims or arguments, and instead focus on the people associated with them.
My issue with bezmenov is that he is basically just saying the same stuff you'd find in those anti communist comics that were being printed out at the time.
You know, the ones that explicitly tell you not to pay attention to race or ethnicity or other group differences, and used the jews as the example.
Also, it pretty much equated the communists to the nazis and made it clear that they considered the nazis to be really bad guys.
