I didn't realize the work Paki was a slur until like 4 years ago when I was banned from somewhere for saying it. That's like say 'Murican is a slur or something; or Yank. It's just a shortened form of the name of their country. The fact that everyone understands that it's a slur says something about Pakis.

Same argument for kike. They signed with circles on their documents at Ellis Island, avoiding "x" because its a cross. Kikel is yiddish for circle.

I hear you. However Kikel isn't the current name for jews. If Israel was called Kikelstan, then yes, it would be analogous.

Me neither! So many times I innocently got called into H.R. at work or the college Ombudsman over word misunderstandings, mainly these, after I was told to stop using one in conversations, and switching to the next a week later, that too was somehow another bad word.
